| Professional Development for Galileo Preschool Users Our nation's educators are not only teachers, but they
are also lifetime learners who are dedicated to acquiring new skills and
methods to enhance their interactions with young children. Assessment
Technology, Incorporated recognizes this characteristic and has developed
the Online Course Center and Training & Support areas
in order to provide professional development
tools for the Galileo user. These tools are designed to help you
incorporate and successfully use the Galileo system for the Electronic
Management of Learning, including: Galileo Trainers from Assessment Technology, Incorporated (ATI) come to you direct from the classroom, and are well-versed in educational theory and practice. In addition to degrees in Education, ATI’s Galileo Trainers have substantial professional educational experience, teaching students of all ages. Because they have been in the trenches of public education, they are sensitive to the every-day challenges facing educators, and include innovative and practical solutions. ATI’s Training Department has trained well over 2000 teachers on Galileo Preschool and K-12 technology. ATI is dedicated to providing support in the most
user friendly way as possible. As a result users will have access to training
and support resources throughout ATI's entire website and applications.
For example, electronic help files are available in all Galileo products,
written articles offering insight and tips for the Electronic
Management
of Learning
are regularly posted online, and new product enhancements are described
in the Galileo Enhancements posted on the Login page.
