Professional Development for Galileo Preschool Users

Our nation's educators are not only teachers, but they are also lifetime learners who are dedicated to acquiring new skills and methods to enhance their interactions with young children. Assessment Technology, Incorporated recognizes this characteristic and has developed the Online Course Center and Training & Support areas in order to provide professional development tools for the Galileo user. These tools are designed to help you incorporate and successfully use the Galileo system for the Electronic Management of Learning, including:

Training Offerings
Describes the conceptualization of ATI Preschool training offerings, and explains each training available to Galileo Preschool users. These offerings include on-site trainings, online tutorials and online courses.

Online Course Center

Participants who are enrolled in Online Courses and Online Tutorials will login to the Online Course Center. Once in the Online Course Center participants have access to the latest announcements, course assignments, forums, the online testing center, and their grades.

eCues
eCues is a self help tool that serves as a quick reference guide for Galileo users. eCues include questions frequently asked by Galileo users and their answers.

Galileo Trainers from Assessment Technology, Incorporated (ATI) come to you direct from the classroom, and are well-versed in educational theory and practice. In addition to degrees in Education, ATI’s Galileo Trainers have substantial professional educational experience, teaching students of all ages. Because they have been in the trenches of public education, they are sensitive to the every-day challenges facing educators, and include innovative and practical solutions. ATI’s Training Department has trained well over 2000 teachers on Galileo Preschool and K-12 technology.

ATI is dedicated to providing support in the most user friendly way as possible. As a result users will have access to training and support resources throughout ATI's entire website and applications. For example, electronic help files are available in all Galileo products, written articles offering insight and tips for the Electronic Management of Learning are regularly posted online, and new product enhancements are described in the Galileo Enhancements posted on the Login page.
